Directions and About Las Vegas

Q: What is the best way to get to you from the airport?

A: The best way to get to our hostel is to exit the airport from the baggage claim area (domestic flights) at door #12 where you will find a shuttle bus that offers door-to-door service called Show Time. The cost is $8.00 per person. Please keep in mind that this fare does not include any tip for the driver, which is customary in the U.S. Usually $1 - 2 per person will suffice unless you have a lot of luggage!

The cheaper alternative is to take bus #109 for $1.75 to Maryland Parkway and Fremont, cross the street and walk half a block to the hostel which will be on your right-hand side. If you are going to the airport from the hostel either reserve the shuttle through our reception or take the bus #109.
Q: How do I get to The Strip?

A: There is a bus ($7 24 hour pass) that runs every 15 minutes all day, every day. You can arrange a taxi, which will be around $25, by using our direct phone line in reception to the local taxi company.
Q: Can I go to the casinos even though I'm under 21?

A: You can get into all of the casinos, see the free shows and oddities, shop at all the stores and eat at the restaurants. The only things you can't do are gamble and get into the bars and over 21 clubs.
Q: How do I get to the nearest shopping mall?

A: The Premium Outlets stores are an easy bus trip from the hostel. The mall is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Jump on bus #107 just across the street from the hostel to the bus terminal and switch to the Downtown Shoppers Express, bus #106 or #108. The Shoppers Express runs every 20 minutes daily from 10 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
Q: How can I visit the Grand Canyon?

A: Your two main choices are to book a day or multi-day trip to the Grand Canyon with a tour company or to rent a car, both of which you can do right at our reception desk!

If you want to rent a car we can reserve one for you and help you with directions. If you'd rather sit back and let someone else drive, we have loads of options to choose from.  Don't miss out on the chance to see the amazing Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks as well!  Check out the activities page for more detailed information.
Q: Are your private room prices per person or per room?

A: Our private room prices listed on our website are based on a room with a maximum occupancy of two people. So if you book for one person or two people the price is the same. Some private rooms sleep up to 4 people. There are additional charges for the third and fourth person.
