What to do in Las Vegas Fourth of July Weekend

One of the perks of booking a cheap room in Las Vegas at our hostel is being immersed in the city and all it has to offer. If you are staying at Las Vegas Hostel for USA’s Independence Day, here are some ultra-American things to do for an authentic celebration.

Grab a dog a Cheffini’s:

Located in Container Park, Cheffini’s has some of the best hotdogs in Nevada. Okay, so maybe owner Jose Villamil is from Colombia, but his hotdogs have rightfully earned their spot as a pillar of Vegas street food. Plus, hotdogs are the quintessential American grub and you won’t be disappointed by Villamil’s menu.

Brews at Hop Nuts:

Nothing pairs better with a hotdog than ice cold American suds. Hop Nuts brewery is the latest Nevada brewery to open up in the Downtown Arts District. The beers center around, well, hops and are constantly rotating. If you’re trying to save a few dollars, check out their happy hour menu.

Watch a legendary American jam band:

Along with The Fourth, Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is celebrating 50 years of the Grateful Dead with a simulcast of their Fare Thee Well tour in Chicago with remaining original members Mickey Hart, Bill Krutzmann, Phil Lesh and Bob Weir. The 5th will be the last time the band plays together, so it is literally your last opportunity to see them.
