Downtown Podcast is a late night TV talk show that is filmed every Thursday at fashion studio, Stitch Factory at 9 p.m. in front of a live audience. It is described as being what you would get if “TED (the innovative speaker series) produced a TV show.” The show has been online for over two years now and has featured guests like actress and designer Sarah Jessica Parker and Zappos CEO Tony Heish. The show airs live on COX channel 96 Downtown Podcast. Joining the audience is a great way to get involved with the local community during your Las Vegas vacation, and, oh yeah, there’s an after party, too. No need to worry about transportation. Rock of Vegas

Every summer Fremont Street Experience hosts a series of summer rock concerts called Rock of Vegas. Music fans get to enjoy their favorite rock bands underneath the big screen tarp. Upcoming shows include Celtic punk band Dropkick Murphys July 10; Canadian rockers Theory of a Deadman July 18; 90’s favorites The Spin Doctors and Cherry Poppin’ Daddies August 1.
